Welcome to the Western Edition media center! The media center is the on-line version of the Western Edition Newspaper and HP Journal a "diary" that is following the transformation of Bayview.   The media center has added features including advertising opportunities! We are a small, local San Francisco business.  We serve both our neighborhood and through our media center the broader Bay Area community. We are here to reach your market niche and to build a bridge to our community.

We are dedicated to bridging communication between communities.

Videos:

Our videos provide information on people,  events and activities in the Western Addition community.  The Western Addition community includes several key neighborhoods:  Alamo Square Historic District, Fillmore Jazz District, Hayes Valley, Nihonmachi (Japantown), North of Panhandle and the Divisadero corridor. Our neighborhoods are very active and wonderfully diverse.

On-line pdf magazines:

We publish on-line magazines in pdf format.  You can learn about other San Francisco communities of interest. Hunters Point a community located in the Southeast section of the City is going through a major transformation.  This history making series of projects and events is being chronicled in our HP Journal and made available to other San Francisco neighborhoods.  Our archives include HarlemWest  a year long focus on the newly recreated jazz district in historic Fillmore and SF Utopia highlights the progressive focus of our community. The Western Edition is a neighborhood newspaper that has served the community since 1994.  We bring together neighborhood news and events in one place.  We have many neighborhoods, but one community.
