  About Us:

Welcome to the Western Edition online site! This version of the Western Edition Newspaper/HP Journal is a "diary" that follows the transformation of the Western Addition and Bayview.  Click the advertising link for our online advertising opportunities! We are a small locally owned San Francisco business. We serve both local neighborhoods and the broader Bay Area community. We are here to help you reach your market niche and build a bridge to our communities.

"We are dedicated to bridging communication between communities."

Online PDF magazines:

We publish online magazines in PDF format and save them in online archives. You can learn about other San Francisco communities of interest, such as Bayview and Hunters Point; these communities are located in the Southeast section of the City and are going through major transformations. A history-making series of projects and events is chronicled in the HP Journal. Other archives include Harlem West, a year-long focus on the recreated jazz district in the historic Fillmore, and SF Utopia, which highlights the progressive focus of our community. Click the Archive link and then click any magazine cover photo to read stories that you won't find anywhere else!

Neighborhoods:

We have well organized neighborhoods that serve to make our entire Western Addition area a safe, fun and healthy community. Click on the neighborhood buttons to learn more about some of their unique activities.

News:

The Western Edition Newspaper is published quarterly in print and online. Click any story link on the Home Page to see what's in print!

Advertising:

Advertising is available in print and on-line.  Click the Advertise with us link (top right of each page) to learn more about our rates.

The Western Edition is a neighborhood newspaper that has served the community since 1994. We bring together neighborhood news and events in one place. We have many neighborhoods, but one community.
