They’re back! Circus Bella’s open air 1-ring circus features trapeze artists, rope walkers, jugglers, contortionists, clowns and more, set to an original score performed by live musicians. Joining Circus Bella is the Prescott Family Circus, a youth development/performing arts program based in West Oakland. In addition to the performances, splurge on food and refreshments at the Bayview Underground Pop-Up Market, and enjoy free arts activities, games, face painting, interactive games, and all sorts of fun for the entire family. The event is hosted by the busy Bayview Opera House, and is held at NOW Hunters Point, the site of the former PG&E power plant, adjacent to Heron’s Head Park, at the corner of Jennings and Cargo Way. For more information, call the Bayview Opera House at 415.824.0386, or visit the website at www.bvoh.org.
