Divisadero residents came out in full force in August to sweep the sidewalks sparkling clean. Joined by other residents of District 5, volunteers painted out graffiti, picked up litter and removed weeds to enhance the appearance of the neighborhood.

Populated with hip and trendy restaurants and stores to lure visitors to the area, Divisadero corridor is pedestrian friendly. Joined by their Alamo Square neighbors and others, residents and visitors alike can enjoy what feels like a revitalized district.

The Divisadero corridor is supported by a $3.4 million dollar revitalization budget. Planning to improve the median strip and Muni drop off zones is well underway.
