June will be a big month for art. There will be two major art festivals in San Francisco during the month.

The Union Street Festival will be from June 2–3. The festival is in its 35th year and will feature exhibits of arts and crafts made from recycled materials. Various artworks will be on display in the festival’s 150 booths, and there will be 25 gourmet food stations. Those who wish to attend the festival can find it located on Union Street between Gough and Steiner Streets.

On June 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Haight Ashbury community will host a combination street fair, music concert, and food expo. For six blocks in the Haight, musicians will play their music, vendors will display arts & crafts, and visitors will have a wide selection of edibles from various food booths. The festival will officially be called the Haight Ashbury Street Fair.
