Oodles of succulent noodles will be on offer at this unique fundraiser, and you can eat your fill knowing all proceeds benefit the2016/17 Shinzen Nikkei Youth Goodwill Program. This cross-cultural exchange program fosters ties between the U.S. and Japan, through sports, youth exchanges, touring and home-stays. Young ambassadors build stronger relationships with the people of Japan, while learning about their cultural heritage, traditions and identity. The cost for more Udon noodles than you’ve probably ever eaten in a single sitting is $15 for one, $50 for four. The lunch will be held in the gymnasium of JCCCNC, located at 1840 Sutter Street. For further information, visit the website,www.jcccnc.org/event/udon/ or call 415.567.5505.
