The Children’s Day Festival in Japantown will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 1. Entertainment, food and fun activities will be available in Japantown Peace Plaza. For more information, contact (415) 567-5505.

May 14 is the first of two Japanese Heritage Nights with the San Francisco Giants. The evenings will begin with a pre-game Sake Tasting Event at AT&T Park on Third and King Street. Ticket purchase includes a Limited Edition Giants Sake Glass and Masu, admission to the pre-game festivities and sake tastings, a seat in the JCCCNC Upper Reserve section and a Giants rally scarf for the first 20,000 people. Game starts at 7:15 p.m. and tickets are $21 for JCCCNC members and $24 for non-members. For more information, contact (415) 567-5505 or membership@jcccnc.org.
